**Catering Assistant required

The Conference and Catering Team at Lancashire County Council are looking to recruit Catering Assistant who required to carry out catering duties at Beacon Fell Café, Goosnargh, Preston.

Must have own transport.


The requirements will be 26 hrs over 4 days Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and either Saturday or Sundays between the hours of 9.30am and 4.00pm.

Catering experience is not essential, but desirable; however full training and ongoing support will be provided.


Duties will consist of, but not be restricted to monitoring, basic food preparation and refilling of coffee machines, assist with provision of food and drinks to customers, operation of cash register, operate dishwasher and restock shelves, crockery and cutlery, collection of used cups, crockery, and cutlery on trolleys, assist with cleaning of kitchen and equipment as per cleaning schedule.

Uniform is provided along with a great working atmosphere.

This position is permanent, and you will need your own transport as there is no public transport to this location.
