Permanent | 37 hours per week | Term-time plus six weeks (40 weeks per year)
Starting salary £18,672 per annum


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a friendly and organised Librarian to manage, maintain and develop the Library facility at our Prep School.


The successful applicant will be responsible for all areas of Library management (purchasing and cataloguing new books, and managing the electronic booking system), as well as promoting the library through organising author visits, undertaking library lessons and running our accelerated reading scheme.


Is it important that the postholder possesses excellent organisation skills and has a genuine interest in the promotion of reading and working professionally with young people.

This role is a permanent position working 37 hours per week during term-time plus six weeks floating throughout the School holidays (totalling 40 weeks per year).
