Company Description JMM Energy is a Management and Consulting company that specialises in long-term consulting and service contracts across the Energy Sector.

The company works closely with Renewable Asset Owners, IPPs, O&Ms, Optimisers, Trading entity's and Asset Managers.

With a professional team of experienced energy professionals and a credible reputation for optimising internal platforms for data processing, JMM Energy is able to bridge the gap between business operators and IT departments, taking responsibility for the day to day operation of renewable assets.

This is a full-time hybrid role (located in Greater London with flexibility for some remote work).

As an Energy Analyst - Energy Transition, you will be responsible for analyzing energy data, preparing reports, and supporting the development and implementation of energy transition strategies.

You will work on developing articles on the sector and supporting the team in delivering workshops with clients.

You will work closely with the consulting team to assess and optimize renewable energy assets, identify potential improvements, and provide recommendations for increased energy efficiency.

You will also support the wider JMM Energy team in analysing and documenting business processes and shape new systems.

Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of projects and contribute to the overall growth and success of JMM Energy.

Interest and desire to understand and learn more about the evolving energy market.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field is preferable.
Experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably in the energy sector or energy reports at university.
Knowledge of energy transition concepts, renewable energy technologies, and sustainability practices
Proficiency in data visualization tools and software, such as Excel (minimum), Tableau, Power Bi or Tableau
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainability

Background in the renewable energy sector.
Knowledge of energy trading.
Background in the energy sector focused on Solar, BESS, Hydrogen, Wind or Hydroelectric turbines.
Strong Analytical Skills, with experience in data analysis and problem-solving
Experience in Business Analysis, supporting the development of business requirements and identification of process improvements
