    The Engineer will setupEMC testing of IBM DS8K which will include verifying calibration oftest equipment and troubleshooting equipment such as spectrumanalyzers pre amplifiers antennas EMI probes and oscilloscopes.Prior EMC experience and knowledge is a must have. Engineer willperform low level OS configuration and support for all IT equipmentduring testing.

    Prior Experience in the fieldof electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) design andtesting
    IBM Certified for EMC testing

    Expert with DS8K Radiated Emission testing
    Expert with DS8K Radiated Electromagnetic Susceptibility
    Experience with DS8K High Frequency Emissions
    Experiencewith DS8K LowFrequency Emissions
    Experience with DS8KElectrostatic Discharge
    Experience with DS8K ConductedEmission
    Experience with DS8K ConductedImmunity
    Experience with DS8K TelecomEmission
    Experience with DS8K Power lineDisturbance
    Experience with DS8K Electrical FastTransient
    Experience with DS8K Voltage Dip
    Experience with DS8K Electrical Surge
    Experience withDS8K Harmonics and Flickers
    Experience with DS8K PowerMagnetic Frequency Test

    Handson work or schoollaboratory experience in RF antenna shielding and/or compatibilitytesting and design

    Basic knowledge in theuse of oscilloscopes vector network analyzers and other electricaltest equipment.

    Basic knowledge in Linux/Unixoperating systems
    Well versed in using MicrosoftOffice
    Excellent written and verbal communicationskills
    Strong teamworking skills
    Handson workor school laboratory experience in RF antenna shielding and/orcompatibility testing and design
    Linux/Unix scripting& programming
