The IT Coordinator will support the smooth running of the office through delivering first
- and second-line support, key system administration and supporting IT project delivery.

Responsibilities for the IT Coordinator are:

  • System management_
  • Implementation, development and technical maintenance of the organisation's Digital Media Archive, working closely with the Administration, Comms and Digital teams
  • IT Support_
  • Providing first
- and second-line IT support across the organisation, working with external IT/Comms support as and when required

  • Managing the set up and maintenance of Staff IT equipment / user accounts and profiles in accordance with company policy and GDPR compliance, including Freelancers
  • Attending Factory International and MIF sites as instructed to solve network problems e.g. reboot routers, switches, replace cables
  • Assisting with monitoring and administrating systems across the organisation including maintaining logs/records/asset registers of IT systems
  • Coordinating technical support for AV and communications technology for both internal and external meetings
  • Training_
  • Supporting the department in the development and delivery of IT/System Specific Training for all incoming staff, with regular refresher training for all core/permanent staff
  • IT Project Work_
  • Supporting the Deputy Head of Venue IT and Deputy Head of Systems, Technology & Change with R&D and delivery of IT / Systems change management projects

Person specification for the IT Coordinator include:

ESSENTIAL

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; with an ability to communicate at all levels of IT knowledge including those who may be less confident with IT systems
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
  • Experience of providing first / second line support and core user training, preferably in an office environment (including networks and WiFi)
  • Handson experience troubleshooting officebased hardware such as routers, switches, printers, and other peripherals and AV equipment
  • Experience of Microsoft 365 and Azure administration (including InTune and Autopilot)
  • Cyber Security awareness
  • Commitment to championing representation and inclusion at every level of the organisation with a proven ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds

DESIRABLE

  • An ability to demonstrate a systematic approach to problem solving
  • Able to work under pressure accurately and efficiently
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude, including a flexible approach to developing and delivering the job
  • Experience of working in a Venue (events, arts, sporting, etc)
  • Awareness of the principles of API integration
  • Awareness of the impact of GDPR on the maintenance and administration of IT systems
  • Interest in new and developing technologies, particularly in relation to a dynamic workplace
  • Enthusiasm for training, mentoring and support of emerging talent
