The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Commercial Manager in various tasks, such as, financial modelling, utility tariffs analysis, evaluating future opportunities, managing sales data and reporting, and collaborating with other teams, including some regulatory responsibilities.
Additionally, the role aims to develop skills and processes that contribute to the overall benefit of the business and develop a great understanding of utilities, collaborating with the Sales, Commercial and Finance teams to drive value and business growth.
To provide support to the Commercial Manager.Maintaining & reporting on Sales data.
Maintaining & understanding the workings of financial models.
Collation & interpretation of network data.
Working with Finance to update model assumptions based on actual performance.
Strong up-to-date IT skills, highly competent in Microsoft Excel with good database & analysis skills
Strong problem-solving skills, creative and able to design & implement new processes
CFA Level 1 desirable but not essential
