    We are seeking an engineer/design lead to join our dynamic and innovative team within our building engineering group, where you will undertake a key role in delivering our clients' requirements.

    Based in the Midlands, our Building Engineering group is undergoing significant growth and development as it continues to win major work in the industrial and property sectors.

    You will have the opportunity to use the latest digital tools developed by Microsoft and Autodesk to support the delivery of your projects.

    When you find that current tools don't deliver what you need, you can help Arup to create new digital tools that improve our design process or deliver our services to clients in ways not seen before.

    You can work with our software developers to integrate these through our smart buildings design.

    You will have the opportunity do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.

    Value quality and enjoy delivering technically excellent Electrical designs in the built environment.
    Have solid experience of managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams.
    Have experience in managing and delivering design using BIM, and a variety of calculation software packages.
    Can collaborate with internal and external project teams successfully using clear and concise methods.
    Prioritise the bigger picture when developing design solutions for the benefit of the project.
