Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment? Do you thrive on providing an outstanding customer experience? We have an exciting opportunity for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team and contribute to the success of Warwick Conferences.


In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management team in providing a courteous and efficient food & beverage service to Warwick Conference customers.


Your responsibilities will include preparing and delivering food and beverages according to our high service standards to meeting rooms, setting and clearing tables, maintaining a safe working environment, and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and service areas.

In addition, you will take the lead on smaller events, from setup to service and clear down.

Flexibility is essential as you will adapt to varying schedules based on the business needs.

For larger events, you will work alongside the management team to coordinate all areas, ensuring the highest standard of service delivery.

Please note this role could involve weekend and evening work for open days and special events.


To excel in this role, you must have previous experience in a front-facing customer service position and possess excellent communication skills.

Your customer-focused and friendly approach will contribute to our commitment to exceptional service. Previous experience in a similar environment is also crucial.

This role may involve driving University vehicles, to be covered by the University Vehicle Insurance Policy, you must be in a possession of a full UK or EU equivalent licence and have no serious driving convictions (any period of disqualification must have expired by at least 1 year).
