Their Head of Sales is currently stand-alone, so this is his first support hire, to work in a broad remit as his number two.

The role combines standard marketing support responsibilities (marketing materials, presentations, pitch-books etc.), investor facingresponsibilities (being the first point of call for existing investors + managing prospective investor queries and follow ups) and support around the asset raising process (attending investor pictures, conferences, and events with the head of sales - thisextends to overseas trips socialising with existing investors / allocators).

Depending on the growth / direction of the fund, the hire can progress internally into either a sales role in 2-3yrs, or a 'Head of Investor Relations' role, however the Head of Salesis realistic suggesting that he will successfully train the hire to a level that they can be an excellent hedge fund asset raiser externally should they choose that direction.

The role will pay up to a 65k base salary and a large % bonus if both the fund and the individual perform to a high standard.
