    Work Is fully responsible for meeting allocated technical and/or group objectives. Analyses, designs, plans, executes and evaluates work to time, cost and quality targets. Establishes milestones and has a significant role in the assignment of tasks and/or responsibilities.

    Has defined authority and accountability for actions and decisions within a significant area of work, including technical, financial and quality aspects. Establishes organisational objectives and assigns responsibilities.

    Role:

    Responsibility:

    • and review system architectures through the application of patterns and principles
    • with risk owners to advise and give feedback
    • on risk impact and whether it's within risk tolerance
    • different risk methodologies and how these are applied, as well as the proportionality of risk
    • on developments to security properties in technology
    • new technologies and design their use in a business context
    • knowledge of system architectures
    • and articulate the impact of vulnerabilities on existing and future designs and systems, and can articulate a response
    • broad knowledge of a range of systems, but may specialise in one
    • and apply an understanding of policy and process, business architecture, and legal and political implications to assist the development of technical solutions or controls
