Capita are looking for Lead Communications Consultant to join our homebased team on a full time, permanent basis.

What will you deliver?

  • Lead DC team in Sparks to produce high quality work and deliver to revenue target
  • Reporting team performance and financials to the Head of Sparks
  • Development of existing clients through relationship management and offering new solutions to solve their problems
  • As part of the management team, help to shape the direction of the Sparks business
  • Representing Sparks management team at DRP leadership meetings where required
  • Demonstrate strategic influence with the business and with clients
  • Acquire new clients through building relationships with key pensions stakeholders and subsequently selling opportunities to new clients
  • Identify new business opportunities and ensure communications are included in any RFP responses
  • Ensure the team reaches its growth target on a monthly and annual basis
  • Establish and maintain strong networks and relationships within Capita and with key client contacts
  • Ensure communications consulting and production of material is to a high standard across all DC sector clients
  • Control revenue, be responsible for accurate forecasting and collection of payment
  • Analyse profitable performance of team and take proactive corrective action
  • Professional development of direct reports to ensure they reach their potential both personally and for the business

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience in working in strategic communications agency or on client side. Ability to develop and execute client strategy.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.
  • Successful track record in building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Selfmotivated and enthusiastic ability to work to tight deadlines, with minor or no supervision
  • The ability and experience to handle multiple tasks under pressure
