Description

Capita Technology Solution now have a requirement for a full-time, permanent Citrix Engineer to support the installation, configuration and maintenance of the organization's Citrix infrastructure.

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects and BAU with MOD and financial services customers.

What you will be doing:

nApplication installation, publication and isolation within CITRIX environment.nProviding permanent fixes to problems related to various Citrix estates.nArticulating technical contents to address business problems.nMaintain Citrix Data store, license servers, and Zone Data CollectorsnSupport Client application applications installed on Citrix.nSupport with Citrix Migrations from old to new farmsnSupport other core Citrix Components like Netscaler, Gateway and VDInSupport with engineering efforts in Citrix projects, associated Windows infrastructure and front-end applications that need to be hosted in Citrix and develop runbook/Documentation.

nIncident management:
Resolve tickets, Investigation and identification of Fixn

Problem Management:
Perform RCA analysis for Sev1/2 incidents and permanent resolution

nChange/ Release implementation:
Accountable for Change / release planning and implementation, considering Risk and impact to the environment.

What we're looking for:

nGood working experience with CVAD 1912 & 2203 LTSR, Citrix Cloud and Citrix XenApp 6.x / 7.x , XenDesktop 5.x / 7.x versionsnGood understanding of Netscaler, WEM & Cloud (Azure) exposurenShould be able to resolve complex issues related to Citrix components (Web Interface, XML Broker, Load Evaluator, IMA, and Datastore).nShould have a good knowledge in Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Citrix Machine Creation Services (MCS) – (App layering + ARM templates)nTechnical knowledge required to stabilize and fine tune any Citrix Infrastructure.

Apart from Citrix XenApp, understanding of other core Citrix Components with related to Microsoft Technologies like Active Directory and Terminal Services is Mandatory.
