End User Engineer providing VIP support /
4-5 days on site / Permanent £40,000


In this role the Engineer will act as an escalation bridge between the Service Desk team and Infrastructure Team or Security Team.


  • Monitor\Troubleshoot Citrix VDI environment (including Persistent VDI's) and liaising with Citrix MSP for escalations and changes.
  • Develop technical specifications and evaluate technical responses as part of IT procurement
  • Install hardware equipment
  • Perform acceptance testing of installed/upgraded equipment including firmware and patch levels
  • Oversee integration, compatibility, and continuing operations of systems to ensure mínimal disruption
  • Log tickets via the ITSM Tool using incident, problem and change methodology
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all hardware and software resources
  • Escalating incidents and problems using escalation paths and where necessary to management or thirdparty suppliers
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues on your own and as part of a team
  • To ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate information assets and systems and, where appropriate, ensure preventative measures are undertaken to help mitigate the risk of a security incident occurring including reporting anysecurity breaches or exceptions.
  • Providing assistance as required to IT Leadership Team
  • Liaising with 3rd parties if requested, to ensure business processes continuity.
