Hours: 37 per week, preferably 52 weeks, term time only plus 2 weeks minimum

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our busy Finance Team for a suitably qualified Senior Finance Officer.

The primary focus of the role is to provide timely and accurate information and strong financial support to the Finance Manager.

The role will involve supporting the Finance team with a range of school finance tasks.

As Senior Finance Officer your responsibility is to ensure workload is monitored and staff training is undertaken to ensure systems and processes are followed in line with legal and statutory requirements and the Trust's Financial procedures.


Applicants must have extensive experience coupled with a working knowledge of accounting processes, excellent communication skills and be a natural organiser with strong attention to detail.

Excellent ICT skills, including the ability to work methodically and present information clearly are a must.

Brinsworth Academy is the founding member academy of the Learner Engagement and Achievement Partnership MAT. It is an over-subscribed 11-18 school on the Sheffield/Rotherham border with a Good OFSTED rating.

Dinnington High School is an 11-18 school in Rotherham with a specialism in Science and Engineering.


LEAP's mission is to help all students to "Achieve Excellence" via quality first teaching, responsive pastoral care and decisive leadership.

This postholder will play a key role in supporting students to reach their potential.
