Tradewind are recruiting a Science Teacher to start ASAP in Sheffield


Tradewind are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a dynamic and growing team at a secondary school in Sheffield.

As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of mixed-ability classes,delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students to achieve their full potential.


Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and informative lessons to a range of mixedability classes.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to ensure that all students are able to learn effectively.
  • Assess and track students' progress, providing feedback to students and parents as required.
  • Create a safe and positive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes independent learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment strategies.
  • Keep uptodate with the latest developments in science education and integrate new technologies and approaches into teaching practice.
  • Support the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events.
