    Their innovative B2B solutions empower large financial institutions to enhance customer experiences. As they continue to expand their client base and launch new products, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Engineering to focus specifically on leading an engineering team in driving seamless integrations with their clients' systems.

    Role Overview:

    The Head of Engineering - Client Integrations will be responsible for leading and managing the engineering team tasked with developing and maintaining integrations between their platform and clients' systems. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles, payments ecosystems, and client requirements to ensure successful and efficient integration processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a customer-centric approach to drive excellence in client integrations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and mentor a cross functional team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations with clients' systems.
    • Collaborate with product management, sales, and customer success teams to understand client requirements and define strategies.
    • Oversee the end to end integration process, from scoping and planning to implementation and deployment, ensuring timely delivery and high quality outcomes.
    • Drive innovation and optimisation of integration processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance efficiency and scalability.
    • Provide technical guidance and expertise to resolve complex integration challenges and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
    • Collaborate with external partners and third-party vendors to leverage APIs and SDKs for seamless integration solutions.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor on technical integration matters.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to payments ecosystems and integration standards.

    Qualifications:

    • 7 years of experience in software engineering roles, with 5 years in leadership or management positions.
    • Proven track record of leading successful integration projects in the FinTech, Banking or Payments industry, with expertise in client facing roles.
    • Deep understanding of payments ecosystems, card payments, ledger systems, and integration standards (e.g., APIs, SDKs, RESTful services).
    • Strong technical proficiency in programming languages and technologies relevant to integration development (e.g., Java, Golang, Python, REST, JSON).
    • Extensive experience working in cloud based environments, proficient with a wide range of cloud technologies including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Customer centric mindset with a focus on delivering value and driving positive outcomes for clients.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to align technical initiatives with business objectives and market trends.
    • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, ever changing environment.
