    Field Service Engineer | You will be based on-site and ideally be based around Swindon | Full Time | £30,000 - £35,000

    As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a wide range of high-tech equipment including LED, LCD and Audio in environments such as retail, outdoor and corporate. The role will involve using your technical expertise, to identify, solve and report on faults raised.

    Are you the right person for the job?

    • Competent in fault finding LED/LCD and audio hardware
    • Competent IT knowledge (Outlook / Microsoft office)
    • Experience working with AV equipment (LCD/ LCD / Audio)
    • Work with initiative, on your own, or as part of a team
    • Ability to plan day, and feedback to desk staff issues / changes in planned works for that day
    • Fault finding experience with the ability to use testing tools such as network testers, multimeters etc
    • Great people skills, with a customer focused attitude, having the ability to work under pressure
    • Organized, punctual and professional
    • Full UK driving licence
    • CSCS/ECS Certification is desirable
    • IPAF 3a and 3b MEWPS is desirable

    What will your role look like?

    • To maintain a wide range of technical hardware including LED, LCD and audio equipment
    • Ensuring the completion of accurate on-site reports detailing root cause analysis
    • When appropriate, conduct site surveys, ensuring key information is captured and fed back to the business as required
    • Interpret written directives, including drawings, schematics and other technical documentation
    • Carry out PPM (Preventive Maintenance Visits) ensuring PPM reports are filled out accurately
    • Support when required with installations and service projects
    • Being the face of the company whilst onsite, you'll deliver a top class solution to the standard of the customer
    • First Time Fix mentality – the ability to logically diagnose, repair and report back on faults
