We have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our team at HSS Derby Distribution Centre.

As a Stock Controller, you will work in a supportive team making sure that stock held within the depot is organised and logged correctly.

You will ensure all stock records are accurate and stock losses and errors are mínimal.

What will you do?

Your main duties will include:

Picking stock each day
Load and unload company vehicles
You will manage accurate stock levels
You will promote team work between colleagues; working together to perform daily stock checks and twice a year stock takes
You will ensure equipment is stored safely
You will complete training, display company values and report any problems to your manager.
You will promote compliance of PPE and company health and safety standards

You will be a positive can do person, with good problem solving skills and always working towards solutions
You will have strong communication and organisational skills
You will be used to working on computers / systems, and any experience in manual handling is beneficial
