    Description

    The Management Accountant provides financial support, information and analysis to the finance business partners and the wider Cement & Lime division team.

    This role will be assisting in the formulation of budgets, forecast and reporting along with supporting the month end through analysis, journals and accruals.

    Financial information incorporates sales and operational information for both the profit and loss and balance sheet.
    This is a permanent, full time role based in Birkenhead, SA with flexible working arrangements on offer.
    Adherence to all safe working and environmental policies & procedures
    including journals, accrual, cost transfers, reporting and analysis
    Managing the stock reconciliation process
    Analysis and reporting of major shut down costs for the sites
    Ensure appropriate coding structures are maintained within SAP including taking appropriate action where required to correct
    Assist in the development of the budget and forecasts in conjunction with the finance business partners
    Ensuring reporting deadlines are met and compliance with financial procedures are adhered to
    Assist in other ad hoc requirements
    Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Commerce
    ~ 2+ years relevant management accounting experience including supporting budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities
    ~ Proficient in the use of MS Excel, with SAP or ERP system experience preferred but not essential
