    As English Teacher at Arc School Ansley, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do.

    You will plan, assess, and deliver outstanding teaching and learning following the national curriculum using proven methods and approaches that enable all young people to learn, whilst ensuring that pastoral needs are also met.

    You will establish excellent relationships with parents and carers and inspire trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, families and other professionals.

    For this role, we are looking for someone who holds QTS, and ideally you will have experience of working with children with SEND and ASC.

    With a proven ability to deliver high quality, lively and effective secondary teaching which engages and motivates young people, you'll be someone who has a passion for supporting them to learn and develop, and you'll want to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people.

    ~ Arc School Ansley, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist day school in Ansley, for children and young people aged between the ages of 11 and 17. Those who come to the school have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition and often many associated social, emotional and mental health needs. Our pupils are academically able but have struggled in a mainstream setting.

    We look for people to join our staff team who have the creativity and enthusiasm needed to deliver the best outcomes for the children and young people.
