    Main duties of the job

    As a Registered Nurse Associate you will be responsible forproviding care to people admitted to our ward for rehabilitation. We workclosely as a multi-disciplinary team. Our focusispromoting thecomfort and wellbeing of patients, enablingthemto live as independentlyas possible. Pershore is a small but friendly team to work within. As a team weencourage ongoing learning and development through reflection and clinical supervisionwhich we try and embed in our daily practice.

    Our nurse associates are required to facilitate the day to day runningof the ward under supervision of the registered nurse, administeringmedications, working alongside all members of the MDT as well as patients, theirfamilies and carers to provided 24/7 rehabilitation to enable the highest levelof independence and quality of life. Our nurses are required to attend meetingsas needed such as MDT and CHC or Discharge Planning.

    Qualifications

    Essential

  • Foundation Degree Nursing Associate qualification
  • NMC Nursing Associate registration
  • GCSE English (grade A-C) or equivalent
  • GCSE Maths (grade A-C) or equivalent
  • I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer
  • Experience

    Essential

  • Experience of working in teams under appropriate supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience in prioritising own workload
  • Experience in working without direct supervision
  • Desirable

  • Experience gained working in the frailty care setting.
  • Previous experience as a health care assistant
