    Part time Teaching Assistant (20 hours per week)
    Job Type- Permanent, Part-time (Term time only)
    Salary- Grade 4 point 5- £23,500 (pro-rata- actual salary £11,030.79)

    Leasowes Primary School (recent Ofsted grading of "outstanding") are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in collaboration with senior leaders and teaching staff to support the delivery of our broad and exciting curriculum.


    You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to form positive relationships with our children and staff.

    The role is supporting in either Year 5 or 6, therefore experience of assisting in upper KS2 and having knowledge of end of KS2 Statutory assessments will be highly desirable.

    A flexible approach and a willingness to work across all classes when required is essential.

    Essential criteria:

    Strong English and Maths teaching skills
    High level literacy and numeracy skills
    Flexibility to work with all age groups, with a particular emphasis on KS2/Year 6
    Excellent organisational skills
    Excellent communication skills
    A kind, caring and nurturing approach to the children
    A high standard of professional conduct
    The ability to work effectively under the guidance of the teacher
    The willingness to take part in all aspects of school life
