Qualifications:

Essential criteria

  • At least 5 years in accredited Chemical Pathology (Metabolic Medicine) training posts.
Desirable criteria

  • Consultant
intervieRelevant higher degree (MD, PHD, MSc)

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Evidenced technical skills: Able to communicate effectively and appropriately with patients, their families and other health professionals
  • Able to offer expert clinical opinion in a range of problems within the speciality and make decisions at consultant level.
Desirable criteria

  • Specific training in communication skills
Management Skills

Essential criteria

  • Able to delegate appropriately.
  • Able to develop, present and operationalise coherent ideas for service development/delivery.
  • Able to teach and support junior staff effectively.
Desirable criteria

  • Higher management degree or qualification or training

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
