Your New Role


One of key business priorities is to grow our streaming service discovery+, so we need to work with our key commercial partners to scale the service at speed.


This role will be responsible for supporting the partnerships function both in terms of on-boarding new partners and providing support to existing partners to ensure marketing activity is implemented and d+ support is maximised through our strategic partners.


This role will report to the Partnerships Manager and work with the wider MarComms team, Creative, Digital / Social team, Editorial Planning, Legal and Commercial Development UK.

The Partnerships Coordinator will support all partnership marketing activity as directed by the Partnerships Manager.

The Partnership Marketing team will sits under the VP of Marketing for Channels, Sports and Streaming in the UK


Your Role Accountabilities
Partner Relationship Management

  • With the Partnerships Manager, contribute towards project plans and track marketing activity across all commercial partners.
  • Implement marketing plans around specific content titles through the affiliates to include merchandising, loyalty programmes and other earned media.
  • Work on the onboarding and launches of new platform partners as they come on stream, acting as a key part of the launch team for such partnerships.
Marketing & Creative

  • Brief in and input into wider Marketing briefs for any creative requests for partner deliverables.
  • Liaise with the creative and digital/social teams on the development of any creative or digital assets needed for partners.
  • Writing clear, compelling copy for various mediums (e.g. newsletters, partner pitches and partner content presentations)
Insights & measuring success

  • Working closely with affiliate partners and insights team, support the Senior Partnerships Manager with data driven insights, pulling reports and ensuring trackers are updated.
  • Support the Partnerships Manager, Senior Partnerships Manager and senior stakeholders with post campaign analysis for the key priorities.
Stakeholder Management

  • Working closely with the other functional groups within the marketing function; Editorial Planning, Creative, Legal, Commercial Development and other teams to implement integrated campaigns that support channel and commercial priorities.
  • Establish strong relationships with peers within partner organisations based on trust and reliability.
Admin Support

  • Assume responsibility for day to day operational relationships with key affiliate partner peer to peer contacts and ensure all marketing materials are delivered in accordance with any contractual obligations.
  • Contribute to the discovery+ master filing system within Google, ensuring maximum cohesion, convenience and seamless access across the team.
  • Keep partner trackers and content proposition decks up to date with key priorities
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Update budget tracker and raise Purchase Orders for marketing costs and expenses so we know where money is being spent.

Skills and Experience

  • An understanding of the broadcast and SVOD environment and the working practices within a multi channel multiplatform business.
  • Good organisational and project coordination skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to build relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, to prioritise work requirements, work autonomously when appropriate.
  • Selfstarter, quick learner, quality focused and able to multitask.
  • Thinks creatively and encourages the exchange of ideas to solve problems or meet objectives
  • Some sports knowledge or interest in sports is desirable.
