We have a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career and has good analysis and compliance skills.

The Role of Trainee Product Compliance Assistant:

You will be working in a team whose job it is to ensure the quality and safety of their products from design right through to sale.

As a trainee, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with the Technical Manager to delivery their strategies.

You will involve collaborating with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders to meet the UK and EU standards.

This will lead to interaction with buyers, designers, merchandisers and supply chain experts within the organisation as well as manufacturers based worldwide.

The role involves:

Assist in product testing where needed
Advise on packaging copy approval and necessary symbols
Manage technical records and deal with nonconformance issues
Coordinate inspection reports
Participate in customer service meetings and review fault reports
Prepare instruction manuals
Support the technical team with admin tasks and data management
Contribute to product development and improvements
Stay updated on legislation and sustainability changes

Graduate or graduate calibre
Analytical, numerically skills and commercially aware
Product technical or quality experience is a plus but not essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good team player
Thrives in a fast paced, results driven environment
Quality focussed with a determined attitude

The Package for Trainee Product Compliance Assistant

Salary: To £25,000 (to £12.80/hour) + Bonus
