We are seeking a skilled and experienced PLC Programmer to join our team

As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining programmable logic controller (PLC) systems. Your expertise in low voltage systems, AutoCAD, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our industrial equipment.

Duties:

1. Develop and implement PLC programs based on project requirements
2. Troubleshoot and debug PLC systems to identify and resolve issues
3. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and modify control systems
4. Create electrical schematics and diagrams using AutoCAD
5. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on PLC systems
6. Provide technical support to production teams for PLC-related matters
7. Assist in the fabrication and installation of electrical components
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance
9. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in PLC technology

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text)
• Proficiency in low voltage systems and industrial electrician practices
• Familiarity with AutoCAD for creating electrical schematics
• Mechanical knowledge to understand the integration of electrical components with machinery
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to detect and resolve issues in PLC systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing customer service
• Experience in industrial maintenance is a plus
