Reed Leeds Business are recruiting on behalf of a family run Distribution company based in Leeds.My client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Sales Coordinator to be an integral part of the sales team providing back-office support (includingproviding quotes and placing orders) to enable a field sales specialist to spend their time actively selling.
Keys responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Support to allocated field sales specialists
- Provide administration and coordination support including generating quotes and processing orders
- Liaise with Warehouse to check order on course and inform customers of any potential delays/problems
- Provide account management for allocated customers including general enquiries and manging stock levels
- Escalate issues to field specialist as and when required
- Deal with any queries/complaints escalating when appropriate
- Provide product information as and when required
- Answer incoming calls and relocate them to the appropriate person if necessary
- File quotes and orders
Experience, Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Worked in a similar internal sales role
- Worked for Wholesaler/Merchant preferable but not essential
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good planning and organisation skills
