Reed Leeds Business are recruiting on behalf of a family run Distribution company based in Leeds.

My client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Sales Coordinator to be an integral part of the sales team providing back-office support (includingproviding quotes and placing orders) to enable a field sales specialist to spend their time actively selling.


Keys responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Support to allocated field sales specialists
  • Provide administration and coordination support including generating quotes and processing orders
  • Liaise with Warehouse to check order on course and inform customers of any potential delays/problems
  • Provide account management for allocated customers including general enquiries and manging stock levels
  • Escalate issues to field specialist as and when required
  • Deal with any queries/complaints escalating when appropriate
  • Provide product information as and when required
  • Answer incoming calls and relocate them to the appropriate person if necessary
  • File quotes and orders

Experience, Key Skills and Qualifications:


  • Worked in a similar internal sales role
  • Worked for Wholesaler/Merchant preferable but not essential
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good planning and organisation skills
