Accounts Payable Assistant - Entertainment - Central London
A growing Entertainment business is looking for an Accounts Payable specialist to join them on a permanent basis. This role reports directly into the Finance Manager.

As Accounts Payable specialist you will be responsible for Maintaining the accounts payable ledger for the company's main events as well as day to day finance duties.

Key responsibilities:

Maintaining the accounts payable ledger for the company's main festivals
Processing of invoices, allocation to the correct event, and running of reports
Preparing payment lists and entering them into the banking system
Entering of bank transactions and allocating payments
Working with the finance manager in monitoring budgets to match costs against budgets
Account reconciliations including the company credit cards
Ensuring intercompany balances are reconciled on a weekly basis, identifying recharge requirements, and raising the relevant recharge invoices
Multicurrency processing; dealing with foreign exchange reconciliation
Supporting the finance manager with artist withholding taxes
Performing any other reasonable adhoc duties as required

Key skills:

2+ years working within a similar role
A background in the Media/Entertainment industry is highly desirable
Good understanding of Accounts Payable
IT proficient with strong Excel
Working towards a professional qualification such as AAT is also beneficial
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
Ability to demonstrate delivery of timely, accurate, and concise reports
Selfmotivated with a cando attitude
Enthusiastic, flexible, and adaptable
