Management Accountant - Leeds, United Kingdom - IPS Finance
Description
We are looking to recruit a Management Accountant who will take ownership of the accounting and reporting for a division of a UK construction group.
The successful candidate will manage the accounting responsibilities for this division, from trial balance to full management and statutory accounts preparation, reporting in to the Division's Financial Controller and ultimately the Managing Director.
Role Responsibilities;Accurate and timely management reporting
Coordination of the reconciliation of bank accounts, nominal ledger, supplier statements, supplier and customer accounts
VAT Return Submissions
Production of management accounts
Production of draft statutory accounts and management of annual audits
Requirements;
ACA/ACCA or ACMA
Qualified within industry or seeking a career move from an accountancy firm
Minimum 3 years' experience in preparing management accounts or statutory accounts
Strong IT Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs especially Excel
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills
Problem solving skills
Ability to work under own initiative
