    The CAD Technician position involves creating drawings and CAD models of standard and custom designs for pump systems, along with various other CAD tasks.

    This role is fast-paced and rewarding, focused on meeting customer needs promptly while ensuring high-quality output with attention to detail.

    Responsibilities of the role include:

    • General Solidworks CAD tasks & projects
    • Managing standard parts library
    • Creating customer approval drawings for special projects
    • Engineering change request management
    • Running mini engineering projects
    • Liaising with suppliers and other departments
    • Preparing drawings and CAD output for project documentation
    • Creating 3D CAD models & schematic drawings


    Working Hours:
    Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Some flexibility in hours may be possible for the right candidate.

    Requirements:

    • Strong knowledge of Solidworks CAD
    • Experience in sheet metal and metal fabrication design
    • Experience with Product Life Management systems
    • Mechanical pipework knowledge
    • Basic understanding of structures
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
    • Willingness to learn new software and processes
    • Experience with 2D AutoCAD schematic drawings and Revit modelling
