A growing business is in need of your skills as their new qualified Finance Director. This is a newly generated position has been created to support the CEO and shows strong potential to progress to CFO for the right personis this you?

In this role you will be responsible for supporting, guiding and mentoring the external accounts team virtually, face to face and over the phone.

Compiling the monthly management accounts, liaising with auditors and banks you will also be working with theCEO in varying projects including the continuing mergers and acquisitions.

The role covers:

Raising and reorganising finance
Supporting the accounts team
Maintain a business model, for seeking investment and a suite of documents for potential lenders
Lead annual strategy review
Become a figurehead for the business working alongside the CEO

Financial control for multiple entities:

Budget, cash flow and other financial forecasts
Compile monthly management accounts
Manage multiple site finance functions
Four AAT qualified staff to support
Manage payroll
Statutory Accounts
Submit VAT returns knowledge of partial exemption rules
Produce management packs
Implement, maintain, improve financial controls within each business
Support and mentor finance departments
Liaising with auditors
Business partnering between various departments and shareholders
Produce management packs
Quarterly reporting to external lender and producing financial ratios and testing commercial governance
Yearend preparation completed in line with agreed audit timetable
Corporation Tax Return
Prepare R&D Tax Credit
