Description
My client are looking for a talented
Fire and Security engineer to work in the Dorset area. This company is a family owned company that appreciates staff and rewards them for hard work. They turn over in excess of £3m a year, employing 30staff across Fire, Security and Electrical disciplines.


You will be in charge of a team working on commercial properties mainly in the Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire regions, reporting to the installation manager, so you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and ability to deliverwork to the required standards and also deal with the unexpected.


You should be happy to work as part of a team, but able and confident to work on your own.

You will be installing and commissioning Fire Alarm systems, Emergency Lighting, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm Systems as well as other bespoke systems mainlyin commercial premises.

You will be required to travel across the region with occasional work outside of the locality.


Fire & Security EngineerPosition Overview


In return this company provide a training matrix to establish any additional training/skills you may require, these include in house training in the in-house training room and also approved courses such as FIA, Tavcom, Niceic.

Gent Integrator training. Theystrongly promote training and engineer progression.


Fire & Security EngineerPosition Requirements

  • Experienced in Fire & Security Systems
  • Computer literate
  • Able to work under own initiative
  • Demonstrable knowledge of systems within the Fire and Security industry
  • Experienced of working on fire and security control panels.
  • Experienced of implementing the working standards and current legislation in day to day work.

Fire & Security EngineerPosition Remuneration

  • Salary OTE £42K + (£35k £38k Basic + overtime & bonuses)
