    Marketplace Assistant Merchandiser

    Salary £28k-£35k Location Peterborough Head Office Contracted Hours 37.5 hours a week - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm - Office Based

    This is a Permanent, Full time vacancy that will close in a month at 23:59 BST.

    The Vacancy

    What is the role

    We sell our brands on the biggest UK websites including Next, Very & Debenhams, alongside international websites Zalando and La Redoute. This role is all about maximising the sales across these platforms. You will need excellent attention to detail and a tenacity to keep driving sales through continuous stock and sales performance analysis. An aptitude for writing and grammar will also be required alongside excellent numeracy skills. You must be able to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines. An interest in fashion alongside previous experience of working in an online sales focussed role would be beneficial but is not essential.

    What you will do

  • Create weekly stock picks from new stock to ensure online marketplaces hold a healthy stock position to generate sales
  • Continuously analyse core never out of stock articles to ensure full stock availability is offered at all times
  • Manage stock availability across all marketplaces
  • Analyse weekly sales, stock and cover at article level and replenish stock to avoid loss of sales
  • Consistently be aware of best and worst sellers and execute any necessary actions
  • Identify opportunities for growth and any risks
  • Liaise with Buying teams to report on low cover/fragmentation on key styles to always achieve full stock availability
  • Weekly production of performance reporting and analysis
  • Assist loading products to each marketplace when required
  • Ensure all product information is up to date including price, key product details and imagery in line with each marketplaces requirements
  • Ensure all products are attributed with key item specifics and categorisation to optimise product search visibility
  • Raise any marketplace issues and suggest changes to ways of working to improve efficiency
  • Support all marketplace activities and new initiatives to optimise content and increase brand visibility and sales performance.
