    Description

    We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, positive and skilled professional with substantial experience of services provided to children and families to take forward the priorities of the Cheshire West and Chester Safeguarding Children Board (SCP).

    The purpose of this role is to direct, co-ordinate and manage the work of Cheshire West and Chester Safeguarding Children Partnership (SCP).

    The SCP is responsible for co-ordinating the work of local agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children within the local authority area and ensuring the effectiveness of that work.

    And to ensure a collaborative multi-agency approach to the business of the SCP – specifically planning, policy and procedure development, safeguarding practice reviews, quality assurance and performance management.

    You will lead on new developments for the SCP and work effectively with the Independent Scrutineer to monitor and review the progress of the Board and its impact upon outcomes for children, and lead on the development and implementation of the work of SCP and its subgroups.
