Description

We are looking for a passionate 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a lovely mainstream Secondary School in Wavetree.

You will be working with a Year 10 pupil who needs some support in lessons.

Starting in January 2023


Location:
Wavetree, Liverpool


Pay:
£ £11.50 per hour, plus holiday pay.


Hours - Mon to Fri 8.50am to 2.50pm Mon to Wed, Thurs 8.550am to 3.40pm and Fri 8.50am to 1.

Responsibilities:


  • Providing 11 support to a child with SEN needs
  • Ensuring the child stays engaged and follows routine
  • Keeping the child calm
  • Have a calm and structured approach

Profile:


  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Friendly, empathetic and motivating
  • Strong regard for pupil safetyand well being
  • Motivating with ability to engage pupils
  • Good ability to manage behaviour
