This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, hardworking, and committed individual, with previous catering experience of working within a busy catering department.
To carry out a range of general catering duties within our production unit. Ensuring a high-quality production and level of food safety following set procedures and specifications. To carry out basic food preparation following strict portion control procedures. To promote and maintain best practice in all areas including food preparation, portioning, and storage.To carry out a range of general catering duties within our production unit.
To carry out basic food preparation following strict portion control procedures.
To prepare and make an extensive range of products within strict legislative guidelines.
Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures, Recipes, Preparation Methods, and Portion Control Procedures are consistently adhered to. All actions/tasks must be recorded on Critical Control Point (CCP) documentation
To join a team within our busy central production unit.

To ensure codes of practice for HACCP and food safety are followed as per set specification
To monitor temperature control procedures following set specification
Audit check dates and stock rotation of all food commodities within working areas
Maintain excellent personal hygiene and uniform standard
To observe correct use and care of equipment, reporting breakdowns or defects to ensure maximum efficiency and serviceability of all equipment used within the department.
Maintain excellent cleaning standards within all working areas following set specifications and cleaning schedules whilst complying with COSH data and training
To execute packing, labelling and chilling procedures following set specifications
Appropriate removal of food waste as per set specification using designated waste and recycling streams
Record appropriate food waste and report high levels of waste to supervisors and management
Ensure supplier deliveries are checked and recorded against temperature and quality. Report failures to supervisors and managers to ensure inferior raw materials are rejected.
