Woodlands unit is a CAMHS Low Secure Unit (LSU) which offers therapeutic and rehabilitative services for young females aged In addition to self harm, the majority of the young people we treat have other risk issues and complex needs including;

Those who may have suffered childhood trauma

Young people who present with complex PTSD, Attachment Disorder or emerging Personality Disorder

Young people who have had multiple or long admissions to Tier 4 Acute CAMHS inpatients services.

Working as part of a multi-skilled, experienced, motivated and creative service, you will be responsible for contributing to the efficient and safe day-to-day delivery of effective clinical care and risk management of the young people.

• Assisting the Ward manager in providing management and supervision of a team of registered and unregistered staff

• Implementing best practice across the ward

• Supporting changes and positive developments within the service

• Responsible for the clinical direction of the service

• Support the delivery of therapeutic care to our young people.

• Assisting the ward manager in ensuring that care and treatment is provided meets the standards set by regulators.

• To co-ordinate the safe and effective running of a team on a daily basis, including managing the deployment of staff, in the role of senior nurse on duty.
