(Commercial Workplace Design)
£35K-40K DOE
London | Hybrid (3D office : 2D home)
Reporting to: People and Culture Manager
The Role:
Supporting the People & Culture Manager, this generalist role is part of the team responsible for the delivery
of the operational Human Resources service to circa 400 staff and senior leaders based across our client's 3 offices
in London, Manchester & Leeds.
Working across the employee lifecycle, this broad role will contribute to an efficient service including
Employee Relations, HR systems, Retention and Reward & Recognition, ensuring compliance to practice
policies and procedures. The candidate will provide timely and best practice advice on queries and manage
a varied workload.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Employee Relations
• Informal day to day ER advice.
• Assist in handling disciplinary, poor performance and grievance matters.
• Provide advice and assist in managing the process for the first formal stage of disciplinary and performance improvement procedure.
Policies and Procedures
• Respond to enquiries on current practice policy and procedure.
• Keep up to date with the latest developments and good HR practice and offer ideas as appropriate.
Parental Leave
• Advise on all maternity and paternity leave, informing employees of their rights, entitlements and
information on maternity/paternity/shared parental and parental leave.
• Administering all instances of maternity and paternity leave.
• Manage the smooth return of those coming back from a period of parental leave, including organising
updates and refresher training.
Flexible working requests
• Manage and administer all flexible working requests, including trial periods, meetings with staff and
managers and all follow up.
Visa/Immigration
• Liaising with immigration lawyers and assisting staff in their transition of immigration status. Provide
support and advice to staff members with all visa and immigration issues.
Retention
• Manage the administration of the Leaver's process, including undertaking the exit interview.
• Identify trends and provide analysis on reasons for leaving.
Salary and Benefits
Provide support on annual benefits renewals, salary & bonus reviews and promotions.
Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Experience
• Proven HR generalist experience, ideally within a creative business.
• Exceptional organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice.
