    Electrical Engineer


    Location:
    St James Square


    Shift Schedule:
    Day Shift till 1900 / 4 days off / Late Shift 1000 till 2200 / 4 days off

    Salary:
    Up to £54,000 per annum

    Role Purpose:

    As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing static electrical service to ensure the completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual service and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.

    Operating within the buildings competently and efficiently, you will play a key role in maintaining the functionality of electrical systems.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Operate all building systems competently, effectively, and efficiently.
    • Complete PPM and reactive tasks, updating the electronic workflow system accordingly.
    • Conduct daily checks, promptly repairing and reporting any defects found via the FM helpdesk.
    • Identify materials required for ordering and ensure timely installation.
    • Comply with statutory and company health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies.
    • Timely implementation and recording of statutory inspections, accurately documenting within specified logbooks.
    • Troubleshoot and work on all building systems, including but not limited to:
    • Three-phase and single-phase systems
    • Building Management Systems & Electrical Monitoring
    • HVAC Systems
    • Air Handling, Air Conditioning & Chillers
    • Pumps, Motors & Variable Speed Drive

    Essential Qualifications & Experience:

    • Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
    • BS th edition certification.
    • C&G 2391 or equivalent.
    • PPM experience.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with staff at all levels.
    • Proactive approach to achieving high operational standards.
    • Proficiency in IT and report writing.
    • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and delivering services within given time constraints.
    • Experience with the operation of UPS, Standby Power, and Critical Environment Cooling.
    • Lockout/tagout (LOTO) experience.
    • HVAC experience (not essential but advantageous).
    • Building Management System (BMS) experience (a bonus).
    • Corrigo knowledge (a bonus).
