    Nursery: Bright Horizons Enfield Hilly Fields Day Nursery and Preschool

    Salary: Starting from £29,845.20 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

    Location: Enfield, EN2

    We are currently recruiting for a passionate Room Leader to join our Enfield Hilly Fields Day Nursery and Preschool, based within a wonderful Victorian Grade 2 listed building in the Enfield Chase district of the London Borough of Enfield.

    It is very well situated next to the picturesque Hillyfields Park and is close to Enfield town centre along with the surrounding areas. It has easy access to both the A10 and the M25 as well as local railway stations. The nursery is proudly rated 'Good' by Ofsted.

    What you'll be doing

    Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education

    Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas

    Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones

    Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child

    Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding

    Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment

    What we're looking for

    Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)

    Previous experience working within an Early Years setting - ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar

    Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage

    Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children

    Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents

    Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
