    Description

    The M25 is one of our Flagship projects in the UK It is the most used part of the UK Strategic Road Network with it seeing over 200,000 vehicles per day and it's a critical infrastructure asset for personal and goods vehicles into and around our capital. The network includes around 800 structures and 5 tunnels, so it requires high levels of performance, constant improvement and repairs to keep it operating smoothly.

    We've formed a Joint Venture project called Connect Plus Services (CPS) to work with our partners to widen, operate and maintain the M25 under a 30-year contract and we are looking for an Internal Communications Business Partner to support the Head of Communications in all aspects of internal communication and to facilitate the delivery of aligned internal coms to enhance employee engagement, support business growth and internal initiatives.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Develop, manage and deliver the CPS internal communications strategy and processes on a day-to-day basis, including:
      • Campaign development across the business through engagement with business directorates
      • Support internal event planning inc delivery of company roadshows and business wide webinars
      • Ensure alignment with company tone of voice and brand guidelines
    • Delivery of contractual obligations and alignment to internal processes and procedures including the production of a monthly report
    • Content generation and management of internal communications channels:
      • Owner of the intranet site
      • Create engaging articles relevant to the internal audience
      • Design campaign materials; banners, posters, graphics, email updates, presentations
      • Draft fortnightly company newsletter
    • Establish, manage and maintain effective network of contacts throughout Connect Plus Services, Connect Plus, Parent Companies and Client to:
      • Identify and share best practice, new initiatives and policies
      • Capture relevant operational information for cascading internally
    • Management of relationship with Considerate Constructors Scheme
    • Attendance of internal and external meetings as required to deliver the role
    • Minimum of 5 years working in a communications role
    • Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
    • Comprehensive understanding of communication channels and technologies inc social media capabilities
    • Campaign planning experience
    • Event/ webinar planning experience
    • Innovative and creative to ensure fresh content and ideas
    • Good time management and self-motivation with a proactive nature
    • Highways or construction communication experience - Desirable
