Trust Fellow in Paediatric Cardiology (ST4+)

This is an exciting opportunity to gain and extend your clinical experience in Paediatric Cardiology, in one of the leading units in the unique and supportive environment at GOSH. In the post you will be working within one of the largest and busiest units in the country. GOSH offers exposure to all the cardiac subspecialties including heart failure and transplantation, pulmonary hypertension and inherited cardiovascular diseases.

The post-holder will enjoy a working environment of active training and education and will be encouraged to take an active role in the department's on-going program of audit and clinical research. Our clinical fellows will have access to training opportunities in ward-based assessments, consultant supervised training clinic, echocardiography and cardiac catherisation etc.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be expected to work well within a team. The appointee will be part of the on-call 24h rota. They should be competent in managing Paediatric medical emergencies as part of team - Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) or equivalent is desired.

Applicants must have full registration with GMC and meet Key Requirements below.

Key Requirements:

**Clinical Fellow: At least 3 years working as a doctor in paediatrics or adult cardiology; experience in neonatology and intensive care is desired and will be valued.
