    Great opportunity to work with a leading global provider of integrated facilities management and projects, who are looking to engage a Permit Coordinator, on a contract basis, to join the team located on a new build Data Centre project in Slough.

    The successful candidate will be the acting Permit Coordinator to ensure all planned works are scheduled in accordance with the ongoing project works.

    All contractor visitors are inducted and Authority to Works are submitted and approved in advance of site attendance. Act as the interface between the client's project delivery teams and contractors to enable resources to be allocated sufficiently.
    Training will be provided to enable you to fully understand the operational permitting system.
    Maintain contractor attendance records and compile subcontractor reports,

    Attend regular project meetings with delivery teams to review up-and-coming permit requests, and workloads and carry out regular monitoring of contractors and their activities.

    Effectively work with and Coordinate works between the shift teams, management teams and the client operations team and facilities shift managers.

    Creation of document preparations for enabling works, mechanical and electrical surveys and isolation of systems where required to enable safe working.

    Self-motivated, resourceful with good administrative skills and the Ability to be flexible and learn new tools and techniques with the ability to follow established procedures, with good planning including prioritization of tasks.

    Must have a high level of Integrity, honesty and punctuality and demonstrate pro-activity, diligence and alertness, with the willingness to participate in appropriate training schemes.

    Recognised qualification to a minimum City & Guilds level 3, BTEC, ONC or HNC level for Electrical/Mechanical engineering or equivalent discipline
    Computer literate, with good IT & report writing skills, proficient with Microsoft Office Systems (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
    High Voltage Industry recognised training, course attendance and valid certification
    IOSH/NEBOSH would be an advantage.
    Five or more years working within FM and the building services industries with a minimum of one
    Experience working with risk mitigation documentation & systems.

    Three or more years working within a data centre environment with a good understanding of the following process & acronyms: The role will be full time, based on site in Slough.
