Operational Co-ordination Centre Administration - Derby, United Kingdom - NHS Derby and Derbyshire ICB
Description
Secondment opportunity is restricted to applicants from within the Derbyshire System
Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) nationally are in the process of setting up co-ordinated system control functions to co-ordinate and manage operational capacity and demand across the system and maintain patient flow.
In Derbyshire, this function will be known as the Operational Co-ordination Centre (OCC) and it will link with our existing System Operations Centre and provider Incident Control Centres (ICCs).
The role of the OCC is to always ensure the safest and highest quality of care possible for the entire population across Derbyshire by balancing the clinical risk within and across all acute, community, mental health, primary care, and social care services.
Led by senior clinicians and operational leaders harnessing the power of our Integrated Care Systems, the OCC will ensure a consistent and collective approach to managing system demand and capacity as well as mitigation of risks.
The OCC is looking for four Officers to support the function, to work as part of a rota providing support from 8am-8pm, 7 days a week on a 6 month secondment.
The role will involve supporting the development and delivery of a robust operational performance and resilience function which links closely with system provider partners, ensuring timely and efficient management of a generic inbox, acting on communication received into the OCC and disseminating it accordingly, collating and submitting information as required.
The post holder(s) will attend a daily system meeting and note agreed actions and owners, following up on progress where appropriate and will ensure accurate recording and storage of decisions made.
You will be a highly motivated individual, with the ability to manage multiple system tasks and projects and will have excellent communication skills.
