Solution / Network Architect

£600-£700 p/d

Hybrid working out of Salisbury

SC or DV Cleared
Exciting opportunity to work with one of our close clients who works within the aerospace and defence industry.

This is a contract opportunity which will be 12 months long, offering stability and the ability to work with advanced technologies.

The Solution / Network Architect role will include these responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation and implementation of end-to-end solution/technical design, ensuring alignment with the strategic technical architecture.
  • Responsible for ensuring the solution/design process is adhered to during all phases of project delivery.
  • Provide solution and technical SME input to appropriate levels to supplement internal skills (e.g. when new technologies are being investigated).
  • Provide an escalation point for design related issues within projects.
  • Design security architecture elements to mitigate risks in liaison with Solution Leads.

The following skills are essential:

  • Good understanding of Cisco networking tools.
  • Experience leading projects and working as part of a team including preparing and presenting designs to a high standard.
  • Some exposure to network orchestration and automation with a willingness/aptitude to do more.
  • SC or DV cleared
