Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Intruder Alarm Engineer to join our team.

The Intruder Alarm Engineer will be responsible for liaising with customers on-site and carrying out installation, service, maintenance, and repair of a range of security equipment supplied by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with customers on-site and perform installation, service, maintenance, and repair of security equipment, ensuring it operates safely and efficiently.

Identify faults on equipment, including wiring, cameras, IDS sensors, door controllers, fire alarms, etc., and carry out necessary repairs.

Install new components to ensure systems are working to the best of their ability and in compliance with standards.

Advise customers on the best possible solutions for their security equipment needs.

Provide accurate service documentation and certification for site visits.

Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company Health & Safety regulations.

Maintain awareness of company Quality Assurance requirements and ensure compliance.

Take a positive and proactive approach to promoting all aspects of the company.

Be flexible, as you will be required to be on call on a rota basis with the rest of the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in installation, service, maintenance, and repair of security equipment.

Strong technical knowledge of security systems and components.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance.

Flexibility to be on call on a rotational basis
