    How you'll make a difference?

    The primary objective of this Internship is to support the Process Development Engineering team at SeaSpine Biologics by assisting in new product development/introduction tasks, supporting design of robust and consistent manufacturing processes through collaboration with Engineering, R&D, Operations and Quality Engineering departments.

    What will your duties and responsibilities be?

  • Lead, support, and facilitate communication and problem-solving between Engineering, R&D and Operations to ensure smooth transition of new processes into manufacturing.
  • Collaborate on process improvement initiatives and provide support for validation activities.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • What skills and experience will you need?

    Education/Certifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Enrollment in Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering and/or Biomedical Engineering
  • Junior, Senior, or Graduate student level
  • GPA
  • Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:

  • Functional in SolidWorks
  • Mechanical Design Expertise
  • Problem solving skills
  • What qualifications are preferred?

    Education/Certifications:

  • N/A
  • Additional Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:

  • Machine shop experience
  • Controlled documents system experience
  • CAD Software (SolidWorks preferred)

  • No additional physical requirements or essential functions for this position.
  • The anticipated base hourly rate for an employee who is located in California this position is $22 per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc. The Company is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect the pay scale for an employee who works in other states or locations.
