We are currently looking for a Supplier Development Engineer, to join their team on a permanent basis.You will possess a diverse skill set including technical competence in engineering principles, manufacturing processes and problem-solving abilities, to address issues in supplier performance and product quality.
Developing and maintaining Supply Agreements with suppliers, and supporting the Quality Function in the development and maintenance of Quality AgreementsEstablishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track supplier performance. Regularly evaluate supplier performance against these metrics and provide feedback to suppliers as needed.
Collaborating with suppliers to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and quality enhancements.
Providing support and guidance to suppliers to help them improve their capabilities and processes.

Candidates will need a demonstrable track record in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, ideally Medical Device but this could extend to Pharmaceutical/Food Manufacturing/Aerospace/Automotive/Cosmetics/Defence etc.
You will need a track record within engineering and working with external manufacturers/suppliers. Candidates will need a recongised engineering qualification.The role does offer hybrid work, but you must be within a commutable distance from Oxford.
