Are you looking for a step up from your current EA role. Our exciting Law firm client in Glasgow is looking for an experienced EA to join their busy Secretarial T eam as a Senior EA to support the workload management


What you'll do

  • First point of contact for daytoday workloads of the secretarial team via central inbox
  • Develop, manage and maintain solid working relationships with the legal and secretarial teams
  • Support the secretarial team with tasks that require more experience and initiative to complete
  • Allocate new start solicitors and secretarial support to the assigned legal team via the BigHand server updating the Secretarial Manager
  • Allocate Trainee Solicitors to their EA in line with their allocated Line Manager
  • Act as an active participant in our annual appraisal process
  • Identify opportunities for secretarial development, taking responsibility for arranging meetings where knowledge can be shared
  • Support with cover within the team
  • Manage all annual leave requests

What you'll need

  • Experience of working within a busy Personal and Family (Private Client) secretarial team
  • A highly experienced private client PA/Executive Assistant
  • Strong organisational, communication and people skills
  • The ability to working under pressure, often with tight deadlines
  • Flexible in adapting your working style for different working styles
  • Ability to work independently, managing adhoc projects with mínimal instruction and supervision
  • Experience of DMS (essential)
  • Experience of Bighand (essential)
  • Accurate and competent in document production including formatting and presentation
