    We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Medical Secretary to join us here at The London Clinic, London, W1G 7JL. We are offering a competitive inclusive salary range of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependant on skills and experience.

    Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UK's largest private hospitals, with 8 state-of-the-art facilities, and circa 1350 employees where we are dedicated to providing our patients with expert, individualised treatment and care. Our main hospital spans 8 floors comprising of 150+ patient beds and 10 operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre and two minimally invasive/day surgery theatres. Speciality areas include, General surgery; ENT; Gynaecology; Hepatobiliary; Neuro-spinal; Ophthalmic; Orthopaedic; Plastic and reconstructive; Robotic; Urology; Vascular & Weight loss surgery (bariatric surgery).

    Job Profile

    To play a key role in the setting up and progressive development of the administrative support services provided to Consultants at The London Clinic. The Senior Medical Secretary is responsible for the co-ordination of the pathway through and management of Consultants administrative needs, providing day to day operational support for the clinics. The post holder will be required to act as a flexible administrative resource actively supporting patients and consultants to provide a high level of service.

    • Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.
    • Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm/ 9am - 5pm
    • Job Location: The London Clinic W1G 7JL (Close to Regents Park/Baker St tube stations).
    • Salary: The attractive inclusive salary range for this role is £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependant on skills and experience.

    • Providing comprehensive administrative support, ensuring operations run smoothly.
    • Managing phone communications with professionalism, reflecting our commitment to excellence and patient care.
    • Coordinating internal communication, supporting our executives with your organisational prowess.
    • Utilising your clerical skills in data entry, filing, and calendar management to support our rapid growth.
    • Assist in the organisation of the Consultant's workload, maintaining the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality concerning patient information at all times.
